Reinforcing Commitment to Responsible Business Practices

GENEVA, Switzerland, 17 April 2025 - dss+, a global operations transformation consulting firm, announces its participation in the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, joining a global community of over 20,000 businesses committed to building a more sustainable, inclusive, and ethical world.

This marks a significant milestone in the journey of dss+ to support clients in operational safety, performance, and sustainability. By joining the United Nations Global Compact, dss+ formally commits to aligning its business practices with the Ten Principles of the Compact, covering issues such as human rights, labour standards, environmental responsibility, and anti-corruption.

“We are honoured to be joining a global community that aligns with our purpose of saving lives and creating a sustainable future for our clients, employees and communities,” noted Davide Vassallo, Chief Executive Officer, dss+. "Our ambition is to help our clients to mitigate the complex risks and challenges they face—through transformation that drives operational performance while advancing the principles of sustainability, equity, and ethical conduct.”

As part of its commitment to help clients build business endurance and resilience, dss+ continues to contribute towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those relating to health and safety, decent work, innovation, climate action, and responsible production and consumption. These goals are reflected in the client engagements and internal sustainability efforts of the company.

The United Nations Global Compact provides a globally recognised framework for companies to demonstrate leadership in responsible business conduct. For dss+, this step affirms the standards already embedded in its ways of working—and creates new opportunities to increase transparency and drive continuous improvement.

As a participant, dss+ will submit an annual Communication on Progress (CoP), publicly reporting on its efforts to uphold the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact and its contribution to sustainable development. This will complement the company’s upcoming voluntary Impact Report, which is intended to further demonstrate transparency and accountability in its environmental, social and governance performance and how its client works contributes to the SDGs.
