Learning from a global HSE benchmark

The company asked dss+ to evaluate their performance and good practices in the field of HSE management relevant to their business, including construction site management and environmental aspects. The expected outcome was to reaffirm the company’s good results in HSE compared to peers in the sector, as well as identify new opportunities for further strengthening their management system.

dss+ launched a 4-pillar program:

  1. Market and data research: collect and examine data to understand the client’s positioning in relation to peers in similar sectors, as well as companies in other relevant sectors.
  2. Data analytics: analyse internal performance, understand correlations and trends, and identify relevant root causes to further improve performance
  3. Site assessments: global evaluations regarding how the activities and operational risk management are carried out
  4. Detailed benchmark: benchmarking on a global scale, including targeted interviews on HSE tools and management practices
